Measuring equipment includes a 3-axis QCT gantry-type CMM (coordinate measuring machine), Faro arm and a wide range of precision mechanical instruments and gauges.
The Quantum CMM measures the geometry of an object by sensing discrete points on the surface with a probe, these measurements can then be checked against the CAD model or drawing.
Handheld devices include micrometres, calipers, a depth gauge, a surface finish tester, scales and a height gauge.
